Marine Common Aircrew Trainer (MCAT) Mixed Reality Prototype Industry Day
The Industry Day is being conducted to introduce the Marine Common Aircrew Trainer (MCAT) Mixed Reality Prototype effort and engage industry on potential solutions.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division is seeking a Mixed Reality (MR) capability to modernize existing MCAT systems, reduce lifecycle costs, and address current training gaps—particularly the inability to support CH-53K aircrew training.
Industry participation will help inform the Government’s approach to developing a scalable, cost-effective solution that maintains current training capabilities while enabling future platform integration.
This engagement may provide an overview of requirements, acquisition strategy, and timeline, while allowing industry to share capabilities and innovative approaches ahead of a planned prototype effort with potential follow-on production.
